ASTOR PLACE HIGHRISE | Manhattan, New York

The project was completed on time and on budget with a very satisfied client in the end.

The curved modern façade and floor-to-ceiling glass tower designed by architect Charles Gwathmey, deserved an interior harmonious with its exterior. The client’s spacious 2-bedroom apartment was left incomplete after he and his first decorator parted ways. A client referred us, and we began a few weeks after our first meeting. We respected his no nonsense approach and set to work to create the ‘modern bachelor pad’ that he desired. He requested that we keep the walls white, but allowed us to add texture to the long, wide entry hall. We mixed vintage Roche Bobois and Milo Baughman with custom designed pieces including a rose wood and brushed steel serving bar. The project was completed on time and on budget with a very satisfied client in the end.
