CENTRAL PARK WEST PREWAR | Manhattan, New York

We kept the common spaces a bit more transitional to work with some of the existing elements…

The couple had originally hired another decorator, but was put off when their desire to work around some of the original elements was not respected (the marble entry tile and the custom mahogany millwork to name a few). X-patriots from London, they had purchased a portion of the Central Park West apartment years earlier.

When an adjoining unit came on the market, they decided it was time to enlarge their space to accommodate their growing boys and out of town family. They hired an architect to re-design the layout/kitchens & baths and we were brought on to help with the interior furnishings and finishing touches. We kept the common spaces a bit more transitional to work with some of the existing elements, but had a bit more fun in the boys’ rooms!
