10TH STREET TOWNHOUSE | Hoboken, New Jersey

We leaned into custom millwork, subtle patterns, texture, and rich paint colors throughout to transform the spaces.

This young urban couple and their three small children were living in a luxury waterfront high-rise but yearned for a private home with a backyard (without moving to the burbs). When this updated townhouse in a desirable neighborhood came to market, they jumped at the chance to purchase it. Prior to closing, Covid hit and their instincts for a private residence with an outdoor space proved to be a wise decision. They contacted us early in the process based on a recommendation. Originally, the scope was to furnish the main living spaces and primary bedroom. The original mantle and ceiling detail in the Living room and kitchen were swoon worthy, but the flow and lack of continuity caused us to think a bit harder than simply re-furnishing the spaces. We leaned into custom millwork, subtle patterns, texture, and rich paint colors throughout to transform the spaces.
